SAT 1 Classes

At Gateway Academy, we have produced many students with perfect scores and students with scores in the top 5 percentile! SAT subject tests are not only a great way to show colleges your readiness in the subject content, but they are also required by most competitive colleges and by some choice of majors.

Many subjects are available to take; however, you should choose the subjects you know well and prepare for the test. We offer private tutoring year round, but classes are available in May, after the AP test, and in the summer, from June through August. We provide a thorough review of the subject matter along with practice tests and test reviews.

SAT 2 Classes

ACT consists of four multiple choice sections: English, Math, Reading, Science, and Essay. ACT is less vocabulary intensive and is more directly related to what you have learned in your high school. By taking the ACT, you give yourself another choice in which to take college entrance exam. Almost all colleges accept ACT results and there is no preference between SAT I and the ACT. But like all standardized tests, you can obtain better results through meticulous preparations.

You can choose up to four colleges to which ACT will send your scores and you take the test more than once, you can choose which results to send to colleges. ACT also comes with an optional Writing Section, which some colleges require and some don’t; therefore, check the admission requirements for the colleges you are planning to attend. You can go online and register at www.actstudent.org.

At Gateway, we have been helping students with ACT for over 10 years, and we can help you discover which choice is better for you, ACT or the SAT. Give us a call for a free evaluation test and consultation.
